Overview of Contents
The various sections contain different subsets and views of the code:
- Class Hierarchy (Graphical Version)
- Shows the inheritance relationship between all classes, structs, etc.; the graphical version looks nicer. The nodes in the class graph lead to full documentation for each class except for some obsolete C structs and a few classes defined in system headers.
- Compound List
- Lists and briefly describes only the fully-documented classes, structs, etc.
- Namespace List
- Lists and briefly describes documented namespaces, which in turn list all functions defined within those namespaces. Currently only a few files use namespaces; most of these are generic template functions not belonging to any class.
- File List
- Lists and describes all files and lets you peruse all objects defined within. Also shows include-file dependencies.
- Compound Members
- Global index of all documented members of compound objects, e.g. member functions and member variables.
- Namespace Members
- Global index of all documented items defined within any non-global namespace.
- File Members
- Global index of all documented instantiated objects with global or file scope, including global variables.
Status of the code
As of 1/2003, nearly all of the code has been rewritten cleanly in C++, but there are still a few pesky files that are written in quite-confusing C code. So that they will not be confused with C++ classes, the documentation for obsolete C structs has been suppressed. Almost all of the clean code is in the class or namespace listings; the file listings and global listings show the C files. The C files tend to have tortuous include dependencies.
