Reward them to shoot enemies they see: Without explicit training, shooting, like movement, occurs at random. Here we have set the controls to reward shooting enemies (new white bar under the "gunsight" icon on the control panel). Though intuition might suggest an "always shoot" behavior that does not require training, it is sometimes advantageous to balance the reward for shooting against other rewards, such as approaching a player-specified location (not shown in this set of screenshots).
